Jeremy Vanderpool, a Sophomore Business Major, has been awarded the 2012-2013 Koch Research Fellowship from the NNU School of Business for proposed research on church aid and economic freedom.  The stipend for this fellowship is $2,500 with an additional $2,500 for travel and research expenses.

As the Koch Research Fellow, he will work under the direction of Dr. Peter Crabb and later present his research to the School of Business faculty and fellow students.  This program will give him the opportunity to advance our knowledge of the important role liberty plays in economic development, and further develop his research and writing skills in a professional academic environment.

The fellowship is supported by the Charles Koch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  Charles G. Koch established this foundation in 1980 to advance social progress and well-being through the study and advancement of economic freedom.
